The PRX3 product is the perfect choice for any speaker designer wanting to make active loudspeakers. It is a ready-to-market solution - fully matured.
With the 4-channels of built-in amplification at 250Wrms per channel with optimized for bi/tri/quad-amping (total 1000Wrms), we are looking at a more powerful amplifier than the siblings; PRX and PRXII.
The DSP core is running at 96kHz/32bits, and the built-in premium ADC and the WiSA receiver are running at 96kHz/24bits – which means this is a true lossless hi-resolution audio beast.
The DSP core can be fully customized by the designer - and the settings can be stored in the products permanently after having a system software compiled. The real-time DSP programming is done in Sigma Studio, which is a development environment easy to use and can do even very high complexity programming.
The PRX3 has a built-in BLE wireless interface to enable users to operate the product via the PRX3 companion APP. From the APP, the PRX3 can be customized and tuned by users, channels configured, filters, delays and properties adjusted. It also supports Room EQ via PRX3 companion APP as well as Manual EQ.
The product is compliant with WiSA HT standard for wireless audio interfaces. The WiSA system is a state-of-the-art hi-end audio interface, that ensures lossless transport of audio up to 24bits/96kHz with a low latency of 2.6ms. WiSA HT system features perfect synchronization between the channels with an accuracy of <1sample difference.
The PRX3 also features a new development in digital audio playback – Digital Link. The Digital Link is a SPDIF based daisy-chain link, that provides the best of all worlds to utilize this pure digital piece of audio electronics. The digital link is configured via the PRX3 companion APP, and allow direct connection with multiple PRX3 based products at the same time for a seamless configuration. To operate the device using the Digital Link in daily use it is possible to use an optional RF remote (purchased seperately) – or the system can be operated entirely via the PRX3 companion APP.
It also has a balanced XLR input, that can work as a direct input for the product. The ADC for the XLR input comes from ESS – and is a pure pinnacle in audio ADC performance. The ADC is feeding the signal natively to the DSP as 96kHz/24bits.
The PRX3 module itself is pre-certified for EU and US markets. Thus, the module can safely be integrated into any speaker design. There are local regulations related to the final speaker launched, which the loudspeaker brand are responsible for evaluating themselves.
